I have been reflecting on last year (in April! I know!) and what a whirlwind it was with having a newborn and running this little business. I’ve been trawling through my work and realised I actually managed quite a bit but never had the time to share any of it (or photograph it in its printed form!). Here’s a selected few projects, I still have a lot more to share but I am hoping to photograph the remainder at some point in the near future. Just waiting for the sun to come out…
French Château Save the Date
A save the date postcard for Lee and Sarah’s wedding at the stunning Château de La Côte in France, inspired by vintage travel posters and postcards. It includes an illustrated timeline on the back. We duplexed this card so it was luxuriously thick and tactile.
St Pancras Rennaissance wedding
I’m still hoping to get this beautiful invitation photographed but I adore this illustration so wanted to share it. It was created for Kate and Matthew who were married at St Pancras Rennaissance Hotel in London.
Illustrated Table names
I loved working on Mel and Jamie’s quirky day stationery. I illustrated their table plan and table names with excellent direction from Mel. Their table names have quotes below the illustrations, my favourite being Gin & Tonic.
Illustrated wedding party
Another little project I loved, illustrated caricatures of a wedding party for an Order of Service.
I particularly love map commissions, this one if for the American town of Ardsley, New York. If you would like to commission one of your own just get in touch, prices start from £80.
Now that it’s spring I should be able to get the camera out to get some images of the larger projects i’ve been working on. There has been lots of love for the gatefold format with plenty of florals, botanicals, maps and venue illustrations.
